On July 1, the Center Initiative for Training International Researchers (CITIR), under the guidance of Chief Director and Distinguished Research Professor Ishwar Singh Parhar has started a series of weekly seminars. These are being held at Postdoctoral Researcher Education Center, CITIR, University of Toyama, Gofuku Campus. The purpose of this seminar is to give young researchers and graduate students of our university an opportunity to present and discuss their research in English and to cultivate cross-disciplinary thinking skills.

This year’s weekly seminar series kicked off with presentations from the following speakers:

Department of Biochemistry, Faculties & Graduate Schools, Graduate School of Medicine & Pharmaceutical Sciences
Theme: The Dynamic Brain in Sleep and Memory
Each presenter introduced their research using materials they had prepared for this seminar. The presentations were followed by a lively Q&A session and discussion on their research. CITIR will continuously support the development of young researchers through this seminar.
